Building an A-level Team

If you want to build an A-level team and thriving company culture for your school, check out these 3 tips:

1. Make sure your best staff members are working on the biggest opportunities, not the biggest problems. It is natural to want to find a solution to your problems, but if you want to grow and develop, you need role models to lead the way.

2. When you're trying to hire new staff, don't settle for mediocre. When in doubt, keep looking. It is much harder to fire than to hire. Once you find the right person, put your energy into keeping them.

3. When you know that someone on your team is problematic, act quickly. If one person drills a hole in the boat, everyone sinks with them. Yes people can change and improve but at some point, you need to just let them go.

What is something you would add to this list?
